I am so excited to be offering some very special Christmas mini sessions for 2025

It’s the perfect time to capture your family and update those yearly photos. I know Christmas themes aren’t for everyone, so this year there are three options to cater for all styles:

1. Christmas Baking Session (ages 2+)

2. Themed Christmas Photos

3. Family Photo Update – enjoy the beautiful property indoors and outdoors (weather permitting)

You can also mix and match between Christmas and family portraits if you’d prefer not to go fully festive. Just keep in mind that baking sessions will be baking-focused, though we should still be able to squeeze in a few “regular” shots too.

No matter which option you choose, the heart of your session will be the same—soaking up your love for each other, relaxing, cuddling, laughing, playing, and being together to create lasting memories you’ll cherish for a lifetime.

CHRISTMAS BAKING SESSION

Do you enjoy baking? These sessions are all about festive fun—and making just a little bit of mess along the way! I’ll have a cosy kitchen set-up with dough and cutters, where you’ll mix up some “pretend” batter, roll out pre-made dough, sprinkle icing sugar for that magical Christmas look, and cut out your cookies. We might even finish by sharing a pretend hot chocolate at the bench to toast your baking success.

Please note: As much as I’d love to bake and decorate real cookies together, time won’t allow for it. These sessions are designed as a playful set-up focusing on the preparation stage, which also gives the most variety for your gallery. I recommend these sessions for children aged 2+ so they can follow directions and get the most enjoyment from the experience.

A SUBTLE TOUCH OF CHRISTMAS

It’s that time of year to slip into those matching Christmas outfits, soak up the sparkle, and have some festive fun.

As much as I adore Christmas, these sessions will be a gentle nod to the season—festive but not over the top. I’ll have a cosy space set up in the main living area with Christmas attire, a tree, and decorations so you can hang decorations, relax, and simply enjoy being together.

There will also be Christmas books and games to play, and you’re welcome to bring a small gift for your child to open so we can capture their genuine reaction.

You are also welcome to split the time (just let me know before the day) and have some non-Christmas photos so you can also get some updated, non-festive family shots.

FAMILY PHOTO UPDATE

If a Christmas theme isn’t your thing and you simply want some beautiful, updated family photos, this is the perfect option for you.

You’ll get to enjoy the gorgeous interior—think cosy snuggles on the couch, playful moments jumping on the bed—and, if the weather allows, the stunning garden area too. The home has a warm, inviting vibe that’s perfect for relaxed, authentic portraits.

These sessions are all about connection—soaking each other up, sharing cuddles, and having fun together. I’ll have toys and books on hand to encourage genuine moments, but the real magic happens when you simply relax and enjoy each other’s company.
